‘Follow me’ man by IKEA

In an online campaign for IKEA we brought the ‘Follow me’ man to life. You might recognize this character from the IKEA manuals.

The animations illustrate why the IKEA kitchens are that affordable nowadays: efficient on resources and production, keen packaging and distribution. And it works because IKEA sold more than 1 million kitchens already.

On several websites rich media banners were published, all featuring the ‘Follow me’ man telling the IKEA story. At the end of each banner the viewer can follow the truck to the IKEA website by clicking on the banner. Landing on the IKEA website, you would see the truck arrive where the ‘Follow me’ man revealed a kitchen…

…and by the way. Next to the bible, the IKEA catalog is the most printed book in the world.
